Thomas J. Dula 2012
First of all, thank you for such a great vacation. We enjoyed the ship, the beauty of the BVI that you shared with us, the food (outstanding), but most of all getting to know the two of you. It was fantastic. Peter and Debbie, you two were wonderful hosts. Again, thank you for everything.

Sailing with Peter and Debbie on the Good News was my first trip to the Caribbean and my first time on a sailboat.
They made the trip memorable in every way. They were accommodating, the food was delicious, and they new the islands well. I felt as though I was at home (with better food). They are professional, personable, and knowledgeable, and were very gracious hosts.
Tom & Julie – March 2012
I hope this finds both of you well and enjoying another great cuise with great guests.
My client, Dave & Nancy Wood, they also own a Dominos Pizza Franchise, send thier regards. When I started telling them about our wonderful vacation, they couldn’t believe that we had the good fortune of finding you two. They said that they have enjoyed sailing with you several times and hope to see you again in the near future. They will be seeing your owner at a Franchise meeting and I asked him to pass on how much we enjoyed our cruise and especially Peter & Debbie.
We have been raving to all our friends and look forward to our next time together.
The Cooper’s and The Kelly’s…AARRHH!!! – March 2012
This was our first vacation in the BVI and chartering a catamaran, GOOD NEWS! It was by far the most amazing trip we have ever experienced. Peter and Debbie are wonderful host’s. They catered to all our needs, on board and on shore. Peter’s knowledge of the islands and handling of the vessel were beyond all our expectations. Debbie’s gourmet meals and presentations are five star quality. After sailing GOOD NEWS with Peter & Debbie, they are the only crew we will charter with in the future and I doubt we will ever stay in a hotel again. Thank you for the continuous laughter and the memories of a lifetime!!!

The experiences Mitzi and I had aboard Good News are almost indescribable. Every convenience/luxury you could ever want, the ability to go into small and secluded bays for days at a time and the wonderful water of the Caribbean. We look forward to returning to the Good News and can’t wait to be with you again.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of vacationing in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands aboard Good News. She is a very comfortable boat with well appointed cabins and private heads, and a beautiful salon and galley. We were very sad to be leaving the wonderful waters of the Caribbean and the luxurious surroundings of Good News and hope to return some time next year.

Sailing Good News throughout the Virgin Islands was the experience of a lifetime for my family. My wife and daughters were pleasantly surprised when we entered the main cabin and went down to the sleeping quarters. My daughters were at that age where they were especially excited to see that each of the cabins had their own satellite television, shower and restroom facilities. Of course that was because I had told them they had to jump in the ocean to take care of those last couple of things. As we embarked on our journey, we were able to anchor at several exotic locations that allowed us to swim or motor the dingy to beaches, restaurants and secluded caves or rock formations. Snorkeling with my daughters at Indian point without a care in the world is still as vivid in my mind as if I were just there yesterday even after 6 years. We still love to remind each other about the underwater bridges, fluorescent fish, Sea Turtles and squid that would swim up to us and display a variety of colors. Without a doubt the best Vacation ever. If I have the opportunity to walk her decks and hoist sail on Good News again, I will definitely go.

In a lifetime, you likely have a handful of completely blissful moments that last in your memory forever. One of moments for me was sitting on the very front of one of the hulls of Good News as we raced along through the beautiful, tranquil waters of the BVI. It was dusk with magical colors and flying fish were jumping and racing right in front and beside us. I will treasure that moment as one where I came the closest to nirvana as I’ll probably ever get. Good News is so beautifully designed, outfitted, and staffed – I will surely return.

As Good News made its journey around the world over the last few years, it has been my distinct pleasure to be a guest on board in the Virgin Islands, Panama, Tahiti, and Fiji. Those four visits were some of the most delightful vacations of my life!
Good News is a wonderful vessel and she has all the amenities that a visitor could want. Her nicely appointed main cabin is continuously air conditioned to cope with adverse weather conditions and sports a full kitchen and large sitting areas for eating, playing games, or watching satellite television. The sophistication of its electronics is unsurpassed, including computers, radar, navigation systems, and monitoring equipment that insures all systems are in good working order and that the boat remains safe when there are other boats in the area. Down below are two private sleeping quarters for visitors with each having its own individual bathroom with a shower – and almost unlimited hot water. Although fresh water is an issue on many boats, Good News has a terrific desalination system that delivers all the water a person might require for drinking and showering. There is always plenty of great food aboard thanks to the large refrigerator and pantry, and two generators always supply plenty of electrical power to run everything on the boat.
The exterior offers great opportunities to enjoy the delightful weather. The rear area is covered to allow outside seating that is protected from the direct sun or the occasional shower. The front deck offers seating that allows one to look out at the scenery and down into the beautiful waters. Not to be forgotten, the hammock swings gracefully as Good News travels during the day and provides a spectacular view of the nighttime sky that is unencumbered by the irritating light produced by civilization. I have spent many nights viewing magnificent constellations and watching satellites travel across the sky. It is a wonderful way to rest and enjoy hours upon hours.
Of course, my favorite pastime when I am on board is scuba diving. Launching the dinghy, loading the scuba gear on board (after filling the tanks with air from the on-board system), and motoring to a magnificent dive site is so much fun for me. I have seen thousands of gorgeous tropical fish, breathtaking coral displays, come face to face with sharks, hovered over swarms of rays, and poked around shipwrecks. I can hardly get enough! On days that we’ve decided to forego trips beneath the surface, the snorkeling has been delightful. The beauty of the world’s oceans is a sight to behold, and Good News has all the tools and amenities to treat its guests to a spectacular glimpse of these wonders of nature!
The ambience of this sixty-foot catamaran is second to none. The quality and character of the vessel are a delight for anyone who comes aboard. The experience of going privately to places that cruise ships can never hope to reach, anchoring there to enjoy a day or an evening (or more) without any disturbance from others, cooking a delicious steak or piece of fish on the grill, and enjoying the meal with a glass of wine is a pleasure that is surpassed by no other experience in my lifetime.
For anyone who is thinking about a vacation that will be an extraordinary treat that will not be soon forgotten, a cruise aboard Good News is certain to provide one of the most pleasurable trips that the sophisticated traveler will ever take. I can recommend a visit to Good News as an unbelievably exquisite way to spend a week or two. I would encourage anyone who loves peace and quiet on the water, as well as opulence and comfort while enjoying the wonders of the ocean, to book some time on this wonderful boat and experience just how good life can be. I can hardly wait to get back to Good News for another delightful visit!
I will never forget my experiences aboard Good News. Thanks for all the wonderful times that we’ve been able to share. I am forever grateful for having had the chance to be on board this magnificent sailing vessel!

Sailing on the luxury yacht ‘Good News’, is the ultimate Caribbean experience. Everywhere she sails, people openly admire her, as is her due. I appreciated that each cabin had it’s own private bathroom, or ‘head’, complete with shower. It is a catamaran, so very stable and roomy. A delight! Thank you very much

“Two of my favorite things: Waking up in the morning and drinking a coffee out in the cockpit, just before the sun breaks the horizon and lights up the sky with brilliant color. The smells, the quiet and the beauty are majestic! The other is sitting on the “trampoline” watching the sun set and light up the sky with hues of red and gold. This gives way to an ink-black sky speckled with more stars than you have ever seen in your life! The peace and comfort aboard Good News allows your mind to relax for a while and get back to what is important: family and friends and the awesome gift of God’s creation!” Thanks crew!

Mark and Sally
My wife Sally and I thoroughly enjoyed traveling the British Virgin Islands aboard Good News. The boat is comfortable, roomy, stable and has all the modern conveniences that made our trip wonderful. It was great to have so much space and be able to get into shallow water near the beaches! We have our next trip all ready booked. Good News, and the BVI’s, we are counting the days.
Neal and Brenda
The vessel – Good News is so stable, we found it easy to carry on our non-sightseeing activities while in transit; sleeping, eating, reading – just winding down, are all easily accomplished.
Pieter and Millie
